You may have already heard/read quite a bit about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee's radical new design, but you may be wondering exactly what it's like to take the new model for a test drive. Though it hasn't yet arrive at Jeep dealerships across the country, auto enthusiasts from several publications have shared quite a bit of insider information about the vehicle, and now Grand Junction Chrysler Jeep Dodge is here to provide that news to you.
Recently, the guys over at FourWheeler had the opportunity to drive a variety of new Jeep models, including the Trailhawk trim of the Jeep Cherokee, which is its most well-outfitted model. Ali Mansour, Technical Editor at the publication, describes his experience in the stylish new ride, stating, "Driving the Cherokee through the twisty and scenic backroads of Utah was surprisingly fun. The electronically-controlled steering (something most manufactures are switching to) actually delivered a precise and tight on-road feel."1
Mansour goes on to say that though he wasn't sure the V-6-equipped Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk belonged off the trail, when he and his companions varied from the standard path, it performed rather well, though he hpes for a bit more suspension. In other words, though it still works off-road, if you're looking to spend a lot of time there, a different new Jeep model may be a better choice.
If it's on-road performance and unique style you're searching for, however, the new Jeep Cherokee is a great choice. Be sure to stay tuned here to learn of its arrival here at Grand Junction Chrysler Jeep Dodge, located in Grand Junction, Colorado.
