Have you had an opportunity to take a peak at the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee? It's a bit different from what we're accustomed to from the Jeep brand, but it's our opinion at Grand Junction Chrysler Jeep Dodge that this is for the better. This new model will make its debut in Jeep showrooms like the one here in Grand Junction, CO this fall. It will come equipped with a few industry "firsts" and it's also priced at just $22,995, this is $400 less than the current Jeep Liberty.
The Jeep Cherokee will take the Liberty's spot in the new Jeep lineup. Mike Manley, the CEO of Jeep had this to say. "So when we styled this vehicle, when we set our engineers to create this new generation, we wanted to make sure that we were progressive, not just in terms of its capabilities-it is more capable than Liberty-not just in terms of its fuel economy-it's 45 percent more fuel efficient than the previous vehicle-not just in terms of its styling or its interior, but the complete package."1
The 2014 Cherokee will also be the first Jeep model to utilize a platform from Chrysler's mother company Fiat. This platform is an efficient 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir2 four-cylinder engine.
